Ingredients:
Pomelo Base:
- ¼ cup pomelo segments
- 1 tsp honey (adjust for sweetness)
Matcha:
- 2 tsp organic Japanese ceremonial Matcha
- 60ml warm filtered water (80°C / 176°F)
Fizz:
- ~1 cup sparkling water
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Matcha:
- Whisk matcha powder with 60ml of warm filtered water until smooth and frothy. Set aside.
2. Make the Pomelo Base:
- Peel and segment the pomelo to yield about ¼ cup. Add to a mortar and pestle with honey, and crush until the juices are released and well combined.
3. Assemble the Drink:
- Add the pomelo-honey mixture to a glass filled with ice. Top with sparkling water, then pour in the prepared matcha.
4. Stir & Serve:
- Give the drink a gentle stir and enjoy this vibrant, citrusy matcha fizz!
