A tropical twist on your matcha routine. Creamy, fruity, and just the right amount of refreshing—this Iced Matcha Papaya Latte is a smooth blend of earthy matcha and sweet, sun-ripened papaya.

Ingredients:

  • 2 grams (1 tsp) or 4 grams (2 tsp) Emeri Classic Ceremonial Matcha
  • 60ml warm filtered water (80°C / 176°F)
  • Sweetener of choice, to taste (e.g., 1 tsp simple syrup)
  • 1/3 cup mashed papaya
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the matcha – Sift the matcha into a bowl. Add warm filtered water and whisk until smooth and frothy.
  2. Blend the papaya – In a small bowl, mash the papaya until smooth, or blend it for an ultra-creamy texture.
  3. Layer the drink – Pour the mashed papaya and sweetener into a glass, then add ice. Gently stir to combine.
  4. Add milk – Pour in your milk of choice.
  5. Finish with matcha – Slowly pour the prepared matcha over the top for a beautiful layered effect.
  6. Enjoy – Stir before sipping and savor the creamy, tropical flavors.

Notes

  • Opt for a ripe papaya for the best sweetness and smooth texture.
  • Adjust the amount of matcha based on your preferred strength.
  • We recommend using a non-dairy milk for the best flavor and texture.
