Ingredients:

Peppermint White Chocolate:

  • 1 tbsp white chocolate (mini chocolate chips work best for quick melting!)
  • ¼ tsp coconut oil
  • ⅛ tsp peppermint extract

Matcha:

Optional Garnish:

  • Crushed candy cane

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Peppermint White Chocolate:
    • Melt the white chocolate and coconut oil together using a microwave, double boiler, or a low oven/air fryer. Stir frequently to prevent burning.
    • Once melted, add the peppermint extract and stir well.
  2. Whisk the Matcha:
    • Heat 60ml of filtered water to 80°C / 176°F.
    • Sift the Matcha powder into a bowl and whisk it with the warm water until smooth and frothy.
  3. Assemble the Drink:
    • Pour the peppermint white chocolate mixture into your mug.
    • Add the prepared matcha and stir to combine.
  4. Froth the Milk:
    • Heat and froth your milk of choice. Pour it over the matcha mixture.
  5. Garnish and Serve:
    • Sprinkle crushed candy cane on top for a festive touch.
    • Sip and enjoy the perfect holiday treat!
