Ingredients:
Peppermint White Chocolate:
- 1 tbsp white chocolate (mini chocolate chips work best for quick melting!)
- ¼ tsp coconut oil
- ⅛ tsp peppermint extract
Matcha:
- 2 tsp organic Japanese ceremonial Matcha
- 60ml warm filtered water (80°C / 176°F)
- ½ cup milk of choice
Optional Garnish:
- Crushed candy cane
Instructions:
- Prepare the Peppermint White Chocolate:
- Melt the white chocolate and coconut oil together using a microwave, double boiler, or a low oven/air fryer. Stir frequently to prevent burning.
- Once melted, add the peppermint extract and stir well.
- Whisk the Matcha:
- Heat 60ml of filtered water to 80°C / 176°F.
- Sift the Matcha powder into a bowl and whisk it with the warm water until smooth and frothy.
- Assemble the Drink:
- Pour the peppermint white chocolate mixture into your mug.
- Add the prepared matcha and stir to combine.
- Froth the Milk:
- Heat and froth your milk of choice. Pour it over the matcha mixture.
- Garnish and Serve:
